It has been A WEEK that is FER SURE!! LOL! I made this layout earlier in the week, and just FINALLY remembered to get a good pic of it.
This week the Challenge over at Lasting Memories was to use this sketch:
As some of you know I sometimes "see" sketches my OWN WAY! and this was one of them. LOL I wanted to use this piece of paper so I made it work for me!
AND NOW I just realized I am TOO LATE!! I am SOO SAD and UPSET, I have been trying for the Design Team over at Lasting Memories, and I thought I had until tonight!!
*CRYING* Anyways, thanks for stopping by!

DCWV Challenge
HOWDY ALL!
Last week, Erin over at DCWV had a Challenge to use one DCWV Stack and this sketch from Sketch Savvy:
Here is my layout, I used the Mariposa Stack for EVERYTHING on this layout! As you can tell, I kinda seen this sketch in my own way, and I did flip it, but LOVE how it turned out.
Here is a close up of the flowers, I cut them with a file and MTC.
I "fussy" cut the butterfly out of one sheet. The centers are just circles and I hand cut the leaves.
Here is different angle:
I folded the wings up to give the butterfly some dimension, I also inked EVERYTHING with Tea Dye Distress Ink.
Here is a close-up of my title, which was also cut from a file and MTC:
I LOVE how the little butterflies that I fussy cut look on the layout.
THANKS BUNCHES for stopping by and taking a look!

Lasting Memories Challenge #34
HOWDY ALL!
This week the Challenge over a Lasting Memories is Easter. I IMMEDIATELY knew that I would FINALLY scrap the picture of my son, from last Easter. I asked him to go hide the eggs so the grandkids could find them. I look out the window and he is out on the deck, 2nd level, and THROWING the eggs into the yard below!! SERIOUSLY? He said well it works, and it's a LOT easier!! OH, TOO FUNNY! LOL!
Anyways here is my layout:
Here is a close-up of my flowers:
I made the centers out of bits of Ribbon that I just COULDN'T throw away! I just twisted the ribbon and glued it down with Beacon 3-in-1 Glue!! LOVE THAT STUFF!
I used my Echo Park Springtime Collection for this layout. I also used my "home-made" screen and sprayed my card stock with Groovy Grape BA-DA-BING Bling Spray, just to give the outer edges of my card stock a little different color. I just LOVE the SHINE from this Spray!
I hope you will play along this week at Lasting Memories, Thanks BUNCHES for stopping by!

Sketchy Thursday 4/14
HOWDY ALL!
I made a layout using the sketch over at Sketchy Thursday!! I LOVE, LOVE 2-Page Sketches! I am also using this for "All Things Adorable" over at Wee Memories.
Here is the sketch:
Here is my take:
Here is a close-up of the Left side:
And the right side:
Here is a close up of my Little Chick! I just LOVE that this little guy looked as excited as my Grandson, so I had to make him. The chick and the egg were hand cut and pieced together.
I used this saying of "ONE PERFECT MOMENT", it is a Rub-On that I found in my stash, but it is really HARD to get a good pic of it.
I used Imagainisce "For Peep's Sake" papers. The arrows and Dragonflies are from the Home Decor Cartridge. The scallops, and letters are from the Plantin SchoolBook Cartridge. I cut the "eggs" after I cut the letters, to use the "negative" of it.
Here is a close-up of the pic of my Grandson, I just LOVE the look on his face. He was SOOO FUNNY when he was hunting eggs. He would spot one several yards away and would run right passed several to get to the "ONE"!! IT was just HILARIOUS!!

The Scrappiest Sketch 116
HOWDY ALL!
I just LOVE the sketches over at The Scrappiest, I don't always get them posted on time, but I do save them! SO, this week, I just KNEW that I was going to do a page for my Wedding Album when I seen the sketch. I also have another layout planned out that I will be using again here shortly! It is posted HERE!
This is the sketch:
I used my BA-DA-BING Bling Spray in Sapphire to spray my cardstock. I made the "masks" so that I could get it just right and how I wanted it.
Here are some close ups of my embellishments:
I used The Home Decor Cartridge to cut the Forever and also the oval and flourish. The flowers brads and bling are from my stash.
Thanks BUNCHES for stopping by and taking a look! I hope you play along with The Scrappiest this week!

Lasting Memories Challenge #33
HOWDY ALL!
Here is a layout I made for this weeks challenge "All about Journalling" over at Lasting Memories:
I just LOVE scrapping the "small" moments in my Grandkids lives. They are just SO CUTE! LOL! This is a PRIME example of a "small" thing. This is My Princess Abby, she had been in the hospital for a Viral Infection. The poor little thing was SO SICK and couldn't keep anything down for several days, and was just totally lifeless ( SO unlike her!). She was home from the hospital just a few days when she was nice and shared with her big Sister! SO, we didn't want Abby getting ANYTHING else, so she was brought down to spend a few days with me. The poor little thing was SO AFRAID to eat, but was HUNGRY! About every half an hour or so this was I heard, "Me-Ma, It's hungry, AGAIN!" SO CUTE!! I just LOVED the way she pointed to her belly. So of course, I took pics and here is my layout!
Here is a close-up of my flowers that I made, I just used flat lace and with needle and thread gathered it up to make them. I really like how they turned out:
The paper is from My Minds Eye Bella Bella Stack that my WONDERFUL Daughter bought for me! The flourishes are cut from the Serenade Cartridge, the Green Felt Leaves I have had like FOREVER, didn't know what to do with it, so I cut it up and made it work! LOL! The Me-Ma and again were cut from the Plantin Schoolbook Cartridge. The white "it's" is from Basic Grey. The brown "HUNGRY" letters stickers, button and twine are from my stash. The Cream border is from a Border Swap from the S-n-C Yahoo group, THANKS Sue! The Butterfly rub-ons are from My Minds Eye Laundry Line.
I hope you play along this week with Lasting Memories! THANKS BUNCHES for stopping by and taking a peek!

Another Paper Piecing
HOWDY ALL!
I had SO MUCH FUN with my Bunnies the other day, I just had to make another paper piecing. This time it's for the Bakers Twine Challenge over at Wee Memories and also the Flower Challenge over at The Paper Variety. I was having a VERY HARD TIME trying to figure out a way to use my Twine that wasn't the ordinary. SO, I found a cute pic of a dress form and decided I would use it and "Dress" it up! LOL! I hope you can see my Bakers Twine, I used it as the "strings" on the dress and also as the belt. Of course, I had to add some flowers to make it "GIRLY" and I "fussy cut" these out of some paper. I wonder who thought of that idea? Took me over 2 hours to cut the flowers out of the paper! GEESH! But, I LOVE how it all came together.
I had to scan my this as it is WAY to dark to get a good pic, but the scan did come out pretty good. Here it is:
All paper is from My Minds Eye Bloom and Grow. The Cream pearls are from Stampin Up and the Green pearls are from Queen & Co. I did mist the White paper with Electric Blue Ba-Da Bing Bling Spray. The bottom of the dress form is from the Serenade Cartridge, it the bird cage bottom, hey it worked. The stamped saying is from Fiskars Make a Wish Quotes. I hand cut the dress form and stamped it with a stamp from Stampabilities, but I don't know the name of it.
I hope you play along at The Paper Variety and Wee Memories! GOOD LUCK! THANKS BUNCHES for stopping by!

Piecing it Together with Imaginisce
*(: Make sure to read all the way to the end, I have a little Give-Away :)!*
HOWDY ALL!
This month over at Imaginisce the challenge is to "Piece it together". I was ECSTATIC with JOY! I have ALWAYS LOVED to do paper piecing! It is SO MUCH FUN! Well, for me it is, I know a LOT of people don't have the patience for it. But me, I LOVE LOVE LOVE it!
With Easter just a little over a week away, I decided that I would make an Easter Bunny. I searched all over trying to find just the right Bunny. I searched Google for Easter Bunny Clip Art and Color pages. I just could NOT find the ONE that made me happy! I found bodies, hands, faces and ears that I liked, but not ALL together. So, I decided since I was "piecing" it, I would take the parts from each one that I liked and then make my own Bunny, so that's what I did. Each little piece of my bunny is cut out BY HAND, then assembled.
I knew I needed to put my Bunny on something, and even though I still have some pics of last Easter that I could scrap, I thought I would make my Grandkids something "SPECIAL" this year. So this is my pieced Bunny on an Explosion purse that I will give to my oldest granddaughter. Of course, I will HAVE to make something for the other 3, but I am just THRILLED how my Lil' Bunny turned out.
Here is a close-up of my Bunny:
Here is what the little purse looks like when opened AND it will be FULL of Candy, come Easter!:
Of course to hold it closed, I used some Velcro. I just couldn't resist positioning my Velcro to make it look like the Bunny's tail! LOL!
EVERYTHING except the Velcro and Ribbon Handle are from Imaginisce For Peep's Sake Collection, which I just LOVE!! I also used some distress ink. So far, I have made 7 of these Lil' Bunnies. 4 for my Grandkids, 2 are on cards that are already postal and guess what?! I have this little guy left over.
Would you like to have him? Just leave me a comment and let me know, if he was yours what would you put him on? I will choose a winner using Random.org on Wednesday Morning, April 20th.
Just to PROVE how much I LOVE Paper Piecing, here are some things that I have made and GIVEN AWAY:
I hope you play along this month over at Imaginisce! Thanks BUNCHES for stopping by and taking a look!

Sketchy Thursday 4/7
HOWDY ALL!
I made this layout using the sketch this week over at Sketchy Thursday. I used this sketch:
and here is my take:
here is a close up of my Lil' Buddy, I just LOVE the intense look as he works away and that SWEET smile when he got caught! LOL!
I used DCWV Dots and Stripes Pad, Cosmo Cricket Tiny Type Alphas and the "Helper" is from a Cricut Cartridge, Printing 101. I used the blue Adirondack Acrylic Paint Dabber to "ink" all the edges. THANKS Bunches for stopping by, I hope you will play along this week!

It ALL came together!
HOWDY ALL!
Well, a month or so ago, I was LUCKY enough to win Echo Park Springtime. As soon as I received it, I just KNEW it would be PERFECT for some pictures of my Granddaughter, Abby. She was playing outside in the rain with her umbrella! Well, this week, it ALL came together! I knew IMMEDIATELY when I seen the prompt at The Paper Variety. The prompt was to use this picture:
it reminded me of my Granddaughter Abby with her Umbrella, I also used this sketch from Sassy Lil' Sketches:
I am also using this layout for the Spring Challenge over at Lasting Memories.
Here is a close-up of my pictures:
and I also used some CTMH Liquid Glass to make some of the raindrops "POP"!
Everything is from Echo Park's Springtime Collection. Thanks BUNCHES for stopping by and taking a look!
