Abby and Rachie

HOWDY ALL!

I've wanted to scrap this picture for about a week and just couldn't find the right sketch for it. Sunday, Creative Scrappers posted this sketch and I knew, it was the ONE I wanted to use.
Here is the sketch:
Here is my take:

Close-up of my flowers, I made these using burlap, tulle and flat lace. It took me about 3 hours to get them how I "seen" them in my head! LOL! But, I LOVE how they turned out.

and another to show how they stand up:
I used Colorbok Stack Pastel Garden
Martha Stewart Border Punches
Bling and alphas from my stash
I cut the doily using MTC

I am also linking this up over at Sketches In Thyme for their Open Challenge.

Silly Boy

HOWDY ALL!

I want to share my layout that I made using the sketch over at Quick Quotes blog. I had to use this sketch:
This is my grandson and he was just being his silly self. The red spot between his eyes is called a Hemangioma, and it has now faded. We always were asked what it was, because lots of people thought he had hit his head, so thought I would share with you what it is.

a close-up of my banner, made with bits and pieces of leftover ribbon that I had saved:

My Mind's Eye Lime Twist 6 x6 pad
twine, ribbon, brads and alphas from my stash

OH BOY!

HOWDY ALL!

Have you seen the sketch over at GrandDiva's Creative Corner? When I seen this sketch I just had to play along.

This is the sketch:
and here is my take:

Echo Park A Boy's Life Collection

This is my Grandson, who "found" himself in the glass of the coffee table. He just jabbered away to his new friend.

I used ink to get the background square, I inked up my homemade mat (it's a piece of 12 x 12 cardboard with a plastic sleeve over it, works just as good as Tim's but it was only a few cents!)
I just rubbed my ink right onto the mat:

and then just spritzed it with some water. Once that was done, I just put my cardstock on top of it and then picked it straight up.

I hope you liked my little tutorial!! LOL! Just thought I would share how I made my ink background.

Cricket and Abby with the Bunny

I decided to play along with Imaginisce's Sketch Challenge this month. I had to use this sketch:

and these rules:
1. Use the sketch as inspiration for your project
2. You must use at least 75% Imaginisce product on your project
3. Use at least 3 patterned papers
4. Use 3 types of embellishments
My embellishments are the paper pieced bunny, chipboard covered with Imaginisce, and button and twine to hold my banner.

My layout:
and a close-up of the banner:
Imaginisce "For Peep's Sake" Collection
Button and twine from my stash
