Bo Bunny Sketch and Papercraft Star Challenge 2

HOWDY ALL!

I completed this layout using the Bo Bunny Sketch Challenge and it's also fits in for Papercraft Star Challenge 2, to use Red, White and Blue-Americana theme. I used this sketch from Bo Bunny:
And here is my layout, the pics are from my wedding back in September, if you know me well these pics shouldn't surprise you at all! For those of you who don't know me well, Sammy and I had been together 11 years as of Midnight on September 13th, so that's when we were married. We had a bonfire and a keg of beer, believe me NO ONE cared that we got married at midnight as most of them were feeling NO PAIN! LOL! I had to be a little silly and YES, those are mason jars we are drinking out of! hehehe!! Gotta love this Hillbilly Gurl!

I used Bo Bunny: paper, flowers, buttons and chipboard are from the Block Party Collection. The clear stars came from the Snowy Serenade Collection, ribbon is from my stash. I also used Candy Cane Stickles. The red letters are Rub-ons and the black letters are stickers from my stash. I cut the star borders and my title block on my Cricut.

Sketchy Thursday June 17

HOWDY ALL!

I am not feeling very good today due to a severe reaction to some pain meds. GEESH! I am so tired of PAIN!
Anyways, I wanted to get my layout posted for Sketchy Thursday. I had to use this sketch:

Here is a layout I made for The Scraproom Blog, but I don't *get* forums very well and don't think I got it posted in the right spot, but OH WELL, its a page completed and this pic of me and My Little Angel with her Angel Soap that I bought for her was a LONG time in the making!! LOL! I had a pic, wanted a 5 x7 and that pic my daughter gave to me in 2007, MYSTERIOUSLY disappeared, so she re-ordered it for me and I got busy to make the page so the pic wouldn't disappear again! LOL!

My Minds Eye Challenge 12- I Remember

I played along with My Minds Eye for their Challenge 12-I Remember. I had to use this sketch and use at least 80% of MME products:
SO, I decided to use the sketch and alter a frame that I found today at Hobby Lobby for $4.40, I thought it was a bargain, cause I could see beyond the scratched up surface! Here is what the frame looked like when I started:

This is a gift for my parents as a Mother's/Father's Day gift since they were out of town on Mother's Day and I knew I wanted to make something special. So, I will present this to them on Sunday when they stop by on their way to church. Thanks for stopping by and taking a look!

Imaginisce June Sketch

HOWDY ALL!

I played along with Imaginisce's June Sketch. This kinda threw me for a loop at first, I just couldn't get my mind around it, but once I started playing I got into it and I am just THRILLED with how it turned out.
I had to use this sketch:
I used Sweet Cheri Collection and did LOTS of making files on my Cricut to cut everything. I LOVE that the back side of the paper is solid colors! The only thing that isn't from Imaginisce is 4 little gems and some Stickles that I added to the center of some of the flowers, and the glimmer mist.

Here is my layout of my grandkids on Valentines Day 2008, as you can see I flipped it and kinda added a few things, but the main part is from the sketch:

And here is how I made the flowers:
I cut a flower with my Cricut and made sure it had a hole in the center. I then cut a slit in it and added my FAVE GLUE Scotch Quick Dry:
I put the glue on 2 of the petals and then overlapped them so that the flower isn't flat:

I then added some other flowers to the center to hide the hole as you can see in my layout pic.
I LOVED that they stood up just a bit to give the layout a little pop! Thanks for stopping by and taking a look!

My Fave Shoes!

HOWDY ALL!

I found this AWESOME challenge site, These Are A Few of My Favorite Things. The challenge that is going on right now is to scrap your FAVE SHOES, and OH MY they have a total of 28 prizes to giveaway!! WOW!! You gotta go check it out!
I knew I had a pic of me in my Rope Sandals, that I LOVE and have had for probably 1o years or so!! The pic was taken on my Wedding, and they went so well with my Tie-Dyed dress that I just HAD to wear them!! LOL!

Anyways here is my layout of "MY FAVE SHOES":

and of course my title, which I took some jute and braided it, and then formed my letters using Scotch Quick Dry Adhesive, (I LOVE THIS STUFF, when it says QUICK that's what it means! LOL!) and also framed my pic:
The paper is from CTMH. The leaves are cut from Cricut Plantin SchoolBook, and the scalloped circle was also cut on my Cricut. I usedBaby Blue Stickles on the circle, Basic Grey opaline half pearls, CTMH Rhinestone Flowers, and Me and My Big Ideas Mini Blue Flower Rhinestones. The Blue Flowers with the rhinestone center are from Jolee's Boutique and the Flowers and brads are from my stash.

Sketchy Thursday

HOWDY ALL!

Well thanks to Mr. Storm, who went ROARING through the area last night, I lost the modem in my computer!! UGH!! So, here I am at my daughters to upload my layouts for some challenges.
I played along with Sketchy Thursday, I had to use this sketch:

Here is my layout, it is of my Granddaughters and my Cousin's daughter blowing bubbles, this sketch was just AWESOME for making the bubbles. As you can see I flipped it a bit and added more pics, but that's they way I seen it! LOL~:

Here are some close-ups of the title:
Unfortunately, there was an air bubble in the "l" and I didn't see it until after my Liquid Glass was dry. To get the effect I placed my letter stickers and then made circles over them with the Liquid Glass to make them pop.
