My Minds Eye Challenge 11 Anything Goes

HOWDY ALL!

WHEW! Where has May gone to? OH YEAH, I remember I went back to work!! UGH!! I didn't like the fact that I hurt my knee and was off work for 3 months. BUT, I must say that I did enjoy the time working on my albums!! LOL! I completed LOTS of layouts and am happy to be back to work so now I can buy scrappin' goodies again!! WOOHOO!!

This is the first layout I have done since going back to work on May 3rd. This is for My Mind's Eye Challenge 11:Anything Goes

Here are the rules:
Design an "Anything Goes” layout or other project based on this fabulous sketch by Anam Stubbington.

Use ANY My Mind’s Eye products (current or past) you’d like as long as your project has at least 80% My Mind’s Eye products.

So here is my take: (This is my Grandson Dominic, "My Lil' Buddy" playing outside in May 2008) I SOO wish I could know what he was thinking! LOL!

I used papers from the Bella Bella and Wild Asparagus Collections. The "imagine" chipboard title is from Colorbok and I won it during Creative Scrapper's Blog Hop from Taj White! THANKS, Girlie!! The buttons are from my stash.

Here is a close-up of the title:

I wanted it to be a green to coordinate with the papers, but didn't have the "right" color, so I used Glimmer Mist in Frozen Lake and Coffee Shop and was THRILLED with how it came out!

Here is a close-up of my "sewing", I wanted a nice zig zag, and even tried it out on a scrap piece of paper, but when I was stitching on the actual layout, it came out CRAZY, but I LOVE IT!! I SOOO Love when a "screw-up" is better than what I wanted!! LOL!

Thanks for stopping by and taking a look, I hope my layout qualifies for your challenge, My Mind's Eye!!

Have a GREAT Day,

Me Ma Kim
