PLEASE TAKE THE TIME to do an inventory of your home! A FIRE can destroy your life in a flash. I would HATE to have ANYONE go through what I am going through!!

I'm SO ENJOYING getting my Scrappy Mo-Jo back! I made this layout and am entering it over at Lasting Memories for their Life's Simple Pleasures challenge. This layout is of two of my grandchildren from 2008. I walked out of the scrap room and stepped over the baby gate to head to the kitchen to fill up my cup. My Granddaughter who was 3 at the time, thought the world was coming to an end, because I left her. Mind you, she could see me the whole time but was just sobbing uncontrollably, and my Grandson who was 2, was looking at her like "SHE'S RIGHT THERE!" LOL! My Grandkids are DEFINITELY my Simple Pleasure.  I found this sketch on Facebook in the Crafty Cropshop:
 Here is my take:

  1. Love the photos of granddaughter reaching over the baby gate for you! Love the sketch and your take on it!

Thanks for playing along at Lasting Memories!

  2. Super cute page. I love the blues and bright colors! What a great story, and obviously there was someone else there taking pictures, so that makes it even more incredible! I think we've all been there with kids, though. Sometimes they just need you all the time! Glad you have this time with them! I'm sure they'll have fond memories of time with Me-Ma!

  3. What a sad face! An excellent little moment to remember, and cherish the time when those kids want to be with you so much!!! Mine are hitting the double digits and are more likely to cry if they are not left alone.... Thanks for joining us at Lasting memories

  4. I love that you used multiple photo on your layout, something I must do.
