HOWDY ALL!

I found this sketch over at Stick It Down and thought it would be just PERFECT for some pictures I had of one of our first Bonfire parties. I had seen a plaque that has the saying "BONFIRE, Where Friends and Marshmallows get toasted" and thought it would be just PERFECT for this layout. I am also linking up over at Lasting Memories for their Anything Goes Life Moments theme. Bonfires with Family and Friends is definitely some of my favorite Life memories.

I found this sketch over at Stuck?!, and decided to use some pictures of my Grandson who was looking at the guys in the back yard, from the deck. He stuck his head through the railing and then turned his head and couldn't get his head back out!! Finally got his head turned and his head out, but he was a little upset.

I found this AWESOME sketch over at Sketch~N~Scrap. I used some pictures of my Daughter being a BIG KID riding on a 4 Wheeler. She had a dress on and was wearing my Husbands shoes. She was REALLY Stylin'!! LOL!

I'm SO ENJOYING getting my Scrappy Mo-Jo back! I made this layout and am entering it over at Lasting Memories for their Life's Simple Pleasures challenge. This layout is of two of my grandchildren from 2008. I walked out of the scrap room and stepped over the baby gate to head to the kitchen to fill up my cup. My Granddaughter who was 3 at the time, thought the world was coming to an end, because I left her. Mind you, she could see me the whole time but was just sobbing uncontrollably, and my Grandson who was 2, was looking at her like "SHE'S RIGHT THERE!" LOL! My Grandkids are DEFINITELY my Simple Pleasure.  I found this sketch on Facebook in the Crafty Cropshop:

I must say that after 15 months of not scrappin' it sure feels GREAT to get my Scrap on again! I found this AWESOME sketch over at Let's Get Sketchy 

Here is my take on the sketch, I had two pictures so I kind of adjusted it a bit, but I think you can still see the sketch. This is my cousin on the left and my daughter, she is showing her how to do heat embossing and my cousin said something HILARIOUS, which we are still trying to remember the exact phrase, LOL, but I caught my daughter laughing.

Here is my 2nd layout, this is my granddaughter who had an accident in the tub, I am thinking she thought it would just disappear, cause she was just FLABBERGASTED that it was there! It's one of those life lessons you know? I have had these sitting on my desk for a week or so, cause I just wasn't sure how to go about documenting this little lesson. BUT, when I seen the Life Lesson challenge over at Lasting Memories, I just KNEW that it was time to scrap them.

Welcome Spring

HOWDY ALL!

OMG!! I just CANNOT believe that it has been 15 months since I last blogged! I had an AWESOME Scrappy Day on Sunday and I hope that my Scrappin' Funk has ended.  I have 6 tubs of miscellaneous layouts that I have worked on in the past several years. SO, I decided it was time to get them in albums. I started out with 2008 and have tubs up to 2013, no layouts for last year, at least I don't think so! LOL!
