I just completed this layout. This is my youngest grandson, Bubba Braxton. I caught this one day when we were outside playing and I just LOVE the sweet and innocence of the pic.

I just fell in LOVE with this sketch over at Once Upon A Sketch. I had to include HOME and just knew that the pic of My Girls waiting for me when I came home from a weekend away would be just AWESOME.

HOWDY ALL!

I am sharing a layout that I just completed. It's of my Grandsons playing at McDonald's Playplace. My Son and DIL are SO great to send me pics when they are being CUTE! LOL!

I used this sketch from Frosted Designs:

I am linking up over at The Paper Variety for their Scraplift challenge. I scraplifted the idea to make my own mask from Sara, you can check out her Tutorial HERE. This also qualifies for Lasting Memories Stencil challenge.

I didn't have any mist that was a dark enough yellow, so I cut my Sun from a .svg file with Makes The Cut, used the negative part, taped it lightly to my cardstock and used my blending tool and Mustard Seed Distress ink.  The green is the Award that I cut from Plantin Schoolbook and cut off the streamers.

HOWDY ALL!

I had the day off today and spent MOST of the morning cleaning and Scrappin'!!

I saved this sketch from Let's Capture These Sketches last month and chose the PERFECT photo to make it with, UNFORTUNATELY, I didn't get it done until today.

Here is my take, that's me just being SILLY:

 and some embossing, I used my embossing plate and since the 12 x 12 wouldn't fit into my little embosser, I used some double sided tape and taped the back side down and then got my rolling pin and and kept going over and over it for about 2 or 3 minutes:

 Aren't my flowers just AWESOME? Well, I think so! LOL!
I had seen this idea a few weeks ago, and just KNEW I had to give it a try!
First of all I hand cut my flowers out of toilet paper!! YEP, GOOD OL' TP!! I also did the green strip the same way.This took most of the day in between cleaning to let them dry and stuff, but thought it was SO worth the wait.

 I then misted them with some glimmer mist:

 I also hand cut the leaves and misted them:

 I let my flowers and leaves sit for just a bit and then I sent them through my embosser:

 Here is a close up on one, you can see the SPARKLES:

The centers of the flowers are just a small circle of TP and I misted them also, then glued a button on top. You can check out the post where I seen this technique over at Frosted Designs, of course I did mine a little different, but it's still COOL!! LOL!

It's a SCRAPPY DAY for me!! WOOHOO! Having SOOO MUCH FUN! Here is a layout I made to go along with this one. This is my grandson who was only like 3 feet away from my son who was WATCHING him. Don't think he was paying much attention to him, but Dominic sure was having a GREAT time playing in plant. He had DIRT everywhere! LOL!

Over the weekend I joined in at My Scraps and More for a Birthday Blog Hop! They had some AWESOME Inspiration and also a sketch, and while hopping you had to collect party favors. I just had to play along!

When I seen Tracy's layout, over at A Scrap at a Time, I just LOVED the pink/black and had this pic of my granddaughter, Abby that I thought it would be PERFECT! I even used the same collection!
