HOWDY ALL!
I have had a BLAST with Cottage Christmas from Imaginisce. I made a Christmas card, layout and then my Countdown to Christmas:
Here is my card:
and my layout. This is of all 4 of my Grandchildren that was taken on Saturday evening after we put up the Christmas Tree. Of course, this is picture number 12!! WOW, getting the 4 of them to sit still, look at the camera and smile was a WORKOUT, but SO WORTH IT!! I used the sketch this week over at Sketchy Thursday.
And here is my Countdown to Christmas that I HOPE will become a Family Heirloom! OH MY I LOVE how it turned out, just the way I pictured it in my head!! LOVE when that happens!! LOL!
I found this canvas with a snow scene that had been painted on it for $3.00 at the local thrift store. I KNEW when I seen it what I was going to use it for and just kept thinking and looking and FINALLY after 15 hours of playing with it, it is done and I AM THRILLED with it!!
Here is a close up of the tree. I cut the strips on my Cricut with Makes The Cut and then put them together and inked the edges. My daughter added the bling to it with her i-rock! I NEED on of those!! I had to put a picture of all 4 of my grandkids on it and I made it to where I can change it our every year!! TOO COOL!!
Here is my Snowflake topper, SO BLINGY!!
and my little scene under the tree, I used Liquid Applique to get the snow effect. TOO CUTE!
And here is my brick fireplace, OH MY, I have a new found admiration for "real life" brick layers!! HOLY COW!! I cut strips of paper 1/2" wide and then just cut them at different lengths.
My fire was the worst thing, I don't know how to color well!! LOL! But, it did turn out nice.
Here is a close-up of my Christmas banner and you can see that I built the mantle out with some cardboard.
and everyday I get to change the tag, notice the actual upholstery brad up there? I thought that was NEAT, and it was SUPER Easy to push right into the wood frame of my canvas.
Thanks so much for stopping by and taking a look!!

Artful Delight Sketch ASC 2
HOWDY ALL!
I MADE A LAYOUT!! WOOHOO!! I used the sketch over at Artful Delight. This also is entered into the challenge over at Sketches in Thyme for the open challenge to use any sketch.
Here is the sketch that I used:
I flipped the sketch. Here is my layout:
I used some Core'dinations cardstock and made a mask for the squares using my Makes The Cut and then sprayed it with BA-DA-BING Bling Shimmery Misting Spray in Poinsettia. I then stitched around it. I used my Makes The Cut to make the flourish also and sprayed it lightly with the same spray. I added LOTS of BLING! The flowers, buttons and brads are from my stash. Thanks for stopping by and taking a look!

Lollipop Crafts Challenge #15 Birthday
HOWDY ALL!
There is still time for you to play along over at Lollipop Crafts, and this week's winner will receive some "goodies" from Stamp and Create! While I was drooling over all the CUTE stamps at Stamp and Create, I seen this little guy Henry Celebrating Mouse. I was EXCITED because sometime the first of the year I had won stamped images from a Blog Hop or Blog Candy or something and received several different stamped images. Well, this little guy was in the pile! I haven't been the best at "coloring" so I just kinda put them away! SO, I found him and got him dusted off and used some chalk and colored pencils to make him all cute! I think I got him a little crooked, but I just LOVE how he turned out!
I used some paper from a pad that I have had FOREVER that I had bought at Wal-Mart. I am trying to use some of this stuff up!! GEESH!! I am such a PAPER HO!! LOL! I gotta have it and then I am afraid to USE IT!! SILLY ME!! Thanks for stopping by and taking a look, and I sure hope you play along over at Lollipop Crafts!!

Lollipop Crafts Challenge #15 Birthday
HOWDY ALL!
I am having a BLAST being a Guest Designer over at Lollipop Crafts this month! My Dad has a birthday on December 1st, so I thought I would make him a card. I wanted something that didn't look "girly"! LOL! I played around at the shop on Saturday and wasn't having much luck, this card will do the trick, but it isn't my best creation. I wanted to put flowers on it, but didn't think it was appropriate for Dad!! hehe
Anyways, here it is (I didn't use flowers, but I did use buttons!):
I think he will like it just fine! I used paper and the stamp from Imaginisce All Kinds of Happy.
Buttons are from my stash. I used Distress ink around all the edges. This week's Sponsor is Stamp and Create so make sure you link up your Birthday card to have a chance to win some GOODIES! Thanks for stopping by and taking a look!

Lollipop Guest Designer Challenge #14-Embossing
HOWDY ALL!
Here is another card I made for the Embossing Challenge at Lollipop Crafts:
I used the Autumn Leaf and Acorn from Meljin's Designs Digital Collection and colored it in using chalks and colored pencils. I then used BA-DA-BING BLING Shimmery Misting Spray-Hot Cocoa to age my white cardstock and added Cinnamon Stickles to the dots, and then used pop dots behind it. I embossed my cardstock with Sizzix Fall Set, the leaf paper is from a stack and ribbon and brads are from my stash.
THANKS for stopping by and taking a look!

Lollipop Crafts Challenge #14 Embossing
HOWDY ALL!
WOW! I was SOOO EXCITED to be chosen as a Guest Designer at Lollipop Crafts!! This week the challenge was to use Embossing and here is my card:
I used some Core-dinations red paper and the printed is from a stack, not sure where it came from, but I really like how it matched. LOL! I embossed the Merry Christmas from the Sizzix Christmas Set #8 with regular cardstock. I then chalked it with white chalk and sprayed it with BA-DA-BING Bling Shimmery Misting Spray-Winter Ice, it gives it a VERY Shimmery-Shiny look. The twill ribbon is from my stash. Thanks BUNCHES for stopping by and taking a look!
