So, have you seen the Oreo commercial with this saying in it? My Granddaughter Abby would SHOUT IT OUT and I caught this pic of her and just knew it was going to be layout. I used this sketch over at Sketches in Thyme:

My Glue Girl

HOWDY ALL!

I made this layout Saturday. I used pics of when my Granddaughter Abby was here and she was having the BEST time playing with my Glue Glider Pro! With her imagination I think it was many things, but am PROUD to say that she never once "glued" anything! LOL!
All supplies are from Cosmo Cricket Upcycle. The title, swirl and leaves were cut using MTC.

Road Trip

HOWDY ALL!

I got to play in my scrappy room today!! I made this layout:
This pic is of my cousin Heather and I when we took off for our first road trip together. We went to Beaver, OK for a National Scrapbook Day event!! We had LOADS of fun!!

My friend Sandi, sent me the map of Oklahoma and I fussy cut it out to add, and REALLY LOVE how this turned out! THANKS, Sandi!

I used the Road Trip file from Scrapping Bug Designs and am also linking up with the challenge over at The Paper Variety to use a travel theme.

Here is a close-up of my marker for Beaver, OK. I used a button with some bakers twine.

This was the first time I have cut one of the files that I purchased from The Scrapping Bug Designs and I must say they cut just AWESOME!! They are also having a contest on their facebook page, just upload a project made with one of their files and they are adding goodies and one lucky person is gonna WIN BIG!! I have purchased several of their files and I hope to get LOTS more done to get my name in the pot. I hope you join in the fun at The Paper Variety and Check out The Scrapping Bug Designs. Who or What INSPIRES You?

The challenge this week over at Lasting Memories is "Who or What INSPIRES You?". Of course, my answer is My Grandkids, so I made this layout from when we went camping last summer. They are coloring so I thought the title Grandkids Color My World was appropriate.
I used Bo Bunny Block Party. I also covered the star and heart chipboard with it and I am VERY Happy with how it turned out.

CAS-ual Fridays CFC16

HOWDY ALL!

WOOHOO!! I actually made a card and it's for a challenge!! WOW!! It has been SO LONG since I got to play along and I hope this is just the first of MANY!! I played along with CAS-ual Fridays!
The challenge this week is to Emboss, and I chose to use my polka dot embossing folder.
I used Core-dinations paper and sanded it. My Cupcake and circle were a free download that I have had for awhile. I used a scalloped circle cut from MTC.

Lasting Memories Challenge #52

This week there are LOTS of Secrets over at Lasting Memories! My Secret is that I just used strips of paper and then added the strip of ribbon between them so you can't tell that I didn't have enough of the blue paper to do what I wanted! LOL!
this will go with the layout I made a couple of weeks ago. My Granddaughter Abby being "Sweet and Cute" with her swimming goggles on! LOL!!

This week the challenge over at Lasting Memories is to Try Something New! Well, I have sanded a bit here and there on Coredinations paper, but never done ALL of it, so I sanded the peach and grey real good all over! It was a little MESSY, LOL! BUT, I do LOVE how it looks.

so here is my take (I flipped the sketch and added another pic):
This is my Granddaughter, Abby, she is such a PILL!! LOL!! She was dancing around and singing with her swimming goggles on!! She was HILARIOUS!! Those are twix candy bars in her hand in the pic on the left, they were microphones until she ate them! hehe!

I am also linking this to the Shopping Our Stash Challenge this week, which is to use Vellum, Violets or Violins. I hope my music note will work!
