Lasting Memories Challenge #44 Recycle

HOWDY ALL!

Well, I made it through the Relay For Life Event we had here on Friday night! I was up ALL night and made it home and slept on and off most of yesterday! I was BEAT, but was happy to hear that we raised a little over $31,000.00 for the American Cancer Society!! WOOHOO!!

The Challenge this week is over at Lasting Memories is to Recycle something! I recycled a zipper and made flowers out of it. This was SO EASY, and I just LOVE how they turned out!

Lasting Memories Challenge #43 Photo Inspiration

This week the challenge over at Lasting Memories is to use this photo as your Inspiration:

I used a pic of my Son and Grandson from our camping trip last summer. We were playing Miniature Golf and the one hole has a tube that got filled with some leaves and we lost our balls. I snapped this pic, the two ducks reminded me of them. LOL! (sorry the pic isn't the best, but it's DARK and I almost FORGOT to post!)

Lasting Memories Challenge #42 Make your own Background

HOWDY ALL!

This week over at Lasting Memories the challenge is to make your own background. I happened to be playing the other day with the Twinkle Toes Cartridge and cut a BUNCH of frames out. When I pulled the paper off I realized I had an AWESOME background, all I had to do was lay it on my white cardstock and spray with some Glimmer Mist! So, this came together pretty easy, and there are SO MANY ways you can make your own background!

Here is my take:

I used:
Twinkle Toes Cartridge for the background.
Home Decor for the swirls and flowers, I cut the flower apart and then pieced it back together.
I also used Liquid Pearls and Stickles.
The Lace and buttons are from my stash.

Lasting Memories Challenge #41

This week over at Lasting Memories the Challenge is to use a sketch with a twist, BLING, BLING and MORE BLING, this is my last week as a Guest DT Member, but I am HAPPY to announce that Karen has asked me to stay on! WOOHOO!! Thanks, Karen!

I used some old paper from Hobby Lobby and the flowers are from CM that I have had like FOREVER and the BLING was from my friend Ashley! I LOVE IT, Girlie! I even fussy cut some of the butterflies. I also inked everything with Distress Ink.
