Lasting Memories Challenge #26
HOWDY ALL!
This week over a Lasting Memories the challenge was to Reduce, Reuse and Recycle! So I played along and made this layout (2 pager!):
This is a close-up of the left side:
This is a close-up of the right side:
This is my Hubby trimming tree branches so we could walk on the sidewalk without getting slapped in the face with them! I also used this on Scrappin'-n-Chattin' for the Challenge to use a TV Show as the title.
Everything on this layout is either made from Scraps or stuff that I had. WOOHOO!! I am USING IT UP!
THANKS for stopping by and taking a look!

Birthday Sundaes and some cards!
HOWDY ALL!
Did you know that there is a new Challenge Blog? It's called Birthday Sundaes
A little about the new challenge blog:
Birthday Sundaes is a weekly challenge blog beginning March 20, 2011. The goal of Birthday Sundaes is to build up those birthday card stashes! I just love to make birthday cards and hope you do too! Types of challenges Birthday Sundaes will be hosting are color, supply, recipe, inspiration & technique challenges incorporated into birthday themed cards.
There is also some Blog Candy you can win, if you help spread the word about this new Challenge Blog! WHO wouldn't LOVE this? MME 6 x 6 Stella Rose Paper Pad! AWESOME!!
So please help spread the word and blog about this GREAT new site and enter for your chance to win the Blog Candy!! GOOD LUCK!
Here are some cards that I made earlier in the month. I didn't realize until now that the pics aren't the best, but since most of them are already in the mail, this is ALL I got! LOL! I MUST get a new SD flash drive thingy so I can upload pics from my real camera and not my phone! GEESH! I just can't seem to remember when I am at Wal-Mart, but it is on my list NOW!! LOL!
This card went to my MIL for her Birthday, I used Imaginisce Lucy Bird Collection.
The rest of these cards were made TOTALLY from my scraps!! WOOHOO!! USING IT UP! These are also for the card challenge at Scrappin'-n-Chattin' to use 5 colors of cardstock:
This is also for a card challenge at Scrappin'-n-Chattin' to make a card for a child.
That's all for now! Thanks for stopping by and make sure you go follow Birthday Sundaes and help spread the word about them!

Imaginisce February Challenge
HOWDY ALL!
I played along with Imaginisce this month for their "Sweet Treats Challenge". You have to use this picture and colors as inspiration:
Here is the card I made:
This is a "spring" up card. LOVE the fact that it folds flat for mailing, but will "spring" up when it is taken out of the envelope! TOO COOL! My friend Janet sent me the link to make this card.
You can find the instructions HERE!
Here is a side view of my card:
I used Imaginisce "For Peeps Sake" paper, Lucy Bird Rub-ons, and Birthday Bash Banner stamp that I cut apart. ALL the flowers are from Imaginisce except for the small blue and yellow. The brads and floss are from my stash. Thanks for stopping by and taking a look!

Valentine Party
HOWDY ALL!
I have made a couple of layouts this week, and TOTALLY spaced taking pics today while the sun was shining!! GEESH!! OH WELL, I HAD to get this one posted for Sketchy Thursday, so it's not the best pic, but I will take another pic in the morning when it's Sunny! This is also for the challenge at Lasting Memories, to use Red, Pink and/or White!
I used this sketch:
and this is my take(*new pic posted!):
I managed all 3 colors for this one, even though the red looks like a dark pink in the pic! SORRY!
I used a Glitter Stack from My Minds Eye. I used a border punch and a heart punch. The rest of the goodies on this layout are from my stash! Thanks for stopping by!

Lasting Memories Challenge #24
HOWDY ALL!
Lasting Memories challenge this week was to use your Cricut and or Die Cuts. Well, I have SEVERAL of the newer cartridges and had been going through my pics all week trying to decide what to use and do for this challenge. I had joined in Scrappin'-n-Chattin' Yahoo groups Cricut Swap, and I received them back yesterday and when I seen this little barn and sunrise/set, I KNEW just EXACTLY which pics I was gonna use and couldn't hardly wait to do this layout for the challenge. BIG HUGE THANKS to Theresa for joining in and making this AWESOME Set!!
Here is my layout!
Lil' Farmer Boy: This is my son, Danny and my grandson Dominic aka Lil' Buddy! He just LOVED the tractor as long as it was sitting and not running. He was afraid of it while it was chugging and putting though. The background paper is from my stash that I have had FOREVER, there isn't even a name on it so don't know the maker. The "Farmer" was cut with my Cricut and MTC using Raavie font. Lil' are letter stickers and the BOY was letters that I covered with coordinating paper are from my stash! THANK SO MUCH for stopping by!

I have been SCRAPPIN'!!
HOWDY ALL!
I AM SO HAPPY!! I have been just Scrappin' away!! In the last 3 days I have completed 5 layouts!! Most of these are for various challenges and I have just decided to post them all in one post, I hope ya'll don't mind, but it just seemed like the easiest thing to do. So here they are in the order that I made them:
For the Sketch Challenge in Scrappin'-n-Chattin' Yahoo Group. We had to use this sketch:
I flipped it and changed this a bit, but I think you can still see the sketch.
I used Nikki Sivils My Sweet Cherry Pie Collection and cut the leaves with my Cricut and MTC. I sprayed the leaves and the strip of paper with Glimmer Mist Hoola Hoop. The flowers, buttons and brads are from my stash.
For Artful Delight's February Challenge I used this sketch:
and this is my layout: I used the Artful Delight February Kit and it is AWESOME!! I received it for winning a challenge. There are still a few left and you can purchase it here!
ALL Supplies from the Artful Delight Kit, I used Coffee Shop Glimmer Mist on the White fabric Thickers (these are AWESOME!)
This is for the Sketch Challenge #40 at Sketchabilities! I knew about Cardabilities, but didn't know there was a Sketchabilities until Saturday!! TOO COOL!! I used this Sketch:
Here is my take on it:
I used the Artful Delight February Kit for this also, but I added the pearls and doily (sprayed with Coffee Shop Glimmer Mist) from my stash. The hearts and circle were cut with my Cricut and MTC.
Next is Sketchy Thursdays 2/3 Sketch. This is the sketch:
Here is my take:
I used some of the paper from Artful Delight's February Kit. The lace, bling and flowers are from my stash.
This is for Sketchy Thursdays March Guest DT:
I had to use this sketch and then use pink and green OR red and turquoise, hearts, and a list about something/someone I love.
Here is my take, I kinda flipped it around a bit and used pics of my Granddaughter, Valentines Day 2009. The middle tag says "to know you is to love you". My list says: "I Love Your: 1. Smile 2. Giggle 3. AWESOME-NESS (it's a word to me! LOL!)
I used My Minds Eye Love Me Do Collection. Flowers and brads are from my stash.
Thanks SO MUCH for stopping by and taking a look!

Lasting Memories Challenge
HOWDY ALL!
I played along with Lasting Memories this week. I used this sketch:
and this is my layout, I twisted it a bit:
WOOHOO!! I used my stash of CTMH papers that I have HOARDED like FOREVER!! LOL! These pics are of my son on 12/30/10 when the wind blew the sign at the Shop loose. He is in the bucket of a tractor on the ladder! I had my phone and was taking these pic, just hoping that I wouldn't have to use it to dial 911! He did get it fixed temporarily until Sammy could fix it.
Thanks for stopping by and taking a look!
