Sketchy Thursday 2-18

HOWDY!
I have managed to squeak this weeks Sketch in over at Sketchy Thursday. WHEW, close call! I knew I wanted to do it, time just got away from me.

Abby loves doing the dishes. I can fill the sink with warm water and she is happy and occupied for about an hour.

An Imaginisce Weekend!

HOWDY ALL!
Imaginisce is having a Sketch Challenge, so I purchased me some paper!
Here was the Sketch that we had to use:
Here is my version:

I really wanted me some pretty embellishments, but it wasn't in the budget, so EVERYTHING is from All Kinds of Happy and Loves Me paper packs. I made the ruffles for my flowers from a 1/2 strip of paper. I also did some machine stitching and used Tim Holtz Distress Ink-Worn Lipstick and ColorBox chalk Deep Green. I used my Cricut Expressions to cut the letters, and used Pop Dots on all.



Here is what the back side of the layout looks like, you can tell I used it to cut letters and also hand cut the leaves for the flowers.


This past weekend, Imaginisce posted on Facebook to take a pic of you holding an i-Top.
WELL, unfortunately I don't have one, :( so I had to use photo editing to do a pic.
Here is my first attempt:
Then I read that I was to be "holding" it, so since I had used a Wedding pic, I thought DUH! i-Top is close to I DO!! LOL! So, here is my what I came up with:

I didn't win, but was FUN playing! LOL!

February Layouts

HOWDY!
Well, it has been awhile since I posted! I am still here and alive, even though I have been "off my feet". I fell on February 8th as I was leaving for work and injured my already BAD knee. This is the same knee I have had surgery on TWICE. So, I am trying to be a good girl and keep off of it as much as possible. I have pinched nerves, which is causing my foot to get a FIRE HOT sensation and then it goes numb. FUN, FUN!!

Anyway, I have been busy. The Yahoo Group I belong to had a 14 day challenge. We had to complete 1 layout each day for the first 14 day of February, so here are my layouts:

Scrap Fit Workout #13

HOWDY ALL!

I have been following the ScrapFit blog. This weeks Workout was to make a card, Show Ur Support, using Pinky's template. Here is the card I made, and yes that is a real necklace, am going to send it to a dear person who has ALWAYS been there for me.
